Labour Day was celebrated at the University of Chitral to honor the hard work and dedication of workers around the world, particularly the supporting staff of the university.
The event was organized by the Youth Empowerment Club of the University of Chitral. The program aimed to recognize the vital contributions of workers to the development and functioning of the institution.
Dr. Sahib Khan, Additional Registrar of the University of Chitral, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. In his address, he paid rich tribute to all the workers and supporting staff of the university. He highlighted their tireless efforts behind the scenes, which ensure the smooth operation of academic and administrative affairs.
“The progress of any institution is deeply tied to the dedication and commitment of its workers,” said Dr. Sahib Khan. “On this Labour Day, we express our deepest gratitude and appreciation for the invaluable contributions of our supporting staff.”
The event featured speeches by faculty members, student representatives, and staff, all acknowledging the efforts of the university’s workforce.
