A second online
session was conducted on October 13, 2024, to guide the students at the University
of Chitral regarding Chinese Government Scholarship. Scholars from various
Chinese Universities participated as guest speakers.
After the
previous sessions on different types of scholarships the students desired
further guidance with respect to acceptance letter, motivational letter and
other aspects. Mr. Anwar Maqsood and his team from Youth Development Centre,
University of Chitral, took the lead and organized the online session.
Mr. Allah Madad
presented on how to get acceptance letter from a professor which is a pre-requisite
for the scholarship. He highlighted various aspects, strategies to find and approach
potential supervisor in the eligible universities. Mr. Mehmood Ishaq shared his
valuable experiences regarding development and presentation of curriculum vitae
and its important sections. Mr. Abdul Razzaq briefed the attendees about
motivational letter. He elaborated the topic with the help of examples from
different motivational letters of successful candidates. At the end, the
speakers answered all questions asked by the attendees of the session. The
session ended with a vote of thanks from Mr. Fathul Bari, Focal Person
Environment and Scholarship Section, YDC, University of Chitral.
