Deputy Commissioner Lower Chitral Visits University of Chitral
The Deputy Commissioner of Lower Chitral, Mr. Rao Hashim Azeem, paid an official visit to the University of Chitral and held a meeting with the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Hazir Ullah, in his office.
During the meeting, various areas of mutual interest were discussed, including collaboration for the upcoming summer tree plantation campaign. The Deputy Commissioner shared that the district administration would provide fruit-bearing plants for the drive, while the University of Chitral would engage volunteers to assist in plantation efforts . The Vice Chancellor and the Deputy Commissioner expressed strong commitment to promoting environmental sustainability and community engagement.
The Vice Chancellor assured the Deputy Commissioner of the University's full support in academic development, research collaboration, and human resource sharing. The Deputy Commissioner assured his continued support for the University and emphasized the importance of working together for the betterment of Chitral’s youth and overall educational development.
Following the meeting, Mr. Rao Hashim Azeem, accompanied by the Vice Chancellor, visited various sections of the University and also visited the under-construction site of the University’s new building. The visit concluded with the presentation of a souvenir by the Vice Chancellor to the honorable guest as a token of appreciation.
The visit marks a significant step toward strengthening collaboration between the district administration and the University of Chitral for the socio-educational development of the region.
