An informative and impactful awareness session on anti-drug and narcotics prevention was held at the Main Hall University on May 08, 2025. The event was organized by the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) in collaboration with University of Chitral and aimed at educating students and faculty about the dangers of drug abuse and the importance of a drug-free society. Students from different department of the university participated in the meeting.
Representatives from the Anti-Narcotics Force delivered comprehensive presentations, highlighting the harmful effects of narcotics on individuals and communities. They discussed various preventive strategies, legal consequences of drug involvement, and the role of youth in combating drug abuse.
A question-and-answer session followed the presentation, where students actively engaged with ANF officials, asking thoughtful questions and sharing their concerns. The interactive dialogue helped clear misconceptions and encouraged a more informed understanding of the subject.
At the conclusion of the session, Dr. Sana Ullah Caretaker Vice Chancellor University of Chitral addressed the audience and highlighted importance of the session. He expressed gratitude to the Anti-Narcotics Force for their efforts and for conducting such a valuable and timely session and told that such events are vital for creating awareness and eradicating drugs from society. He also highlighted the university’s commitment to promoting awareness and fostering a healthy and drug-free environment on campus.
